The Kansas Jayhawks gradually pulled away from the Missouri Tigers by halftime for an 84-65 victory.
The Jayhawks had a battle on their hands in the early going, but eventually stepped it up to take a 20-point halftime lead.
In the second half, Kansas simply maintained the lead while cruising their way to another home win.
Cole Aldrich was a dominant force in the middle, scoring 12 points, grabbing 16 rebounds and blocking seven shots.
The Jayhawks also managed to extend the nation’s longest home winning streak to 54 straight victories.

The No. 3 Kansas Jayhawks withstood a hard charge at an upset bid by the Baylor Bears to pick up an 81-75 victory.
The victory kept the Jayhawks home winning streak alive at 52 games.
It was a defensive struggle in the first half, as the teams left the court tied at 30. The second half brought a lot of offense, as Kansas outscored Baylor, 51-45.
Kansas managed to increase the lead to 10 fairly late in the second half, but Baylor wouldn’t give up.
Senior Sherron Collins simply wouldn’t let the Jayhawks go down under his watch, scoring a game-high 28 points.
