Jayhawks rocked by ticket scandal
A ticket scandal involving a high-ranking official at Kansas and a player’s father has rocked the school.
The two men together raked in more than $800,000 by getting involved in the scalping business.
The tickets were scalped during the 2002 and 2003 NCAA tournaments by three men who received the instructions from basketball brokers David and Dana Pump.
The school has since launched an internal investigation into the scalping of tickets to learn more about what happened.
The athletic director has accepted responsibility for the actions coming under his watch, and there is no word on what the NCAA plans to do about all of this.
