Kansas urges schools not to leave Big 12
As conference expansion looms, Kansas is warning Nebraska and Missouri not to leave the Big 12.
If those two schools elect to bolt for the Big 10, it could set forth a domino effect that leaves Kansas out in the cold.
Six Big 12 schools would then seriously considering bolting to the Pac-10, and Kansas and Kansas State would not be one of them.
That would leave the two schools, which both have very good basketball programs, without a conference.
That could mean disaster for both schools, which would then have to try and find a new conference to join.
